- On February 20, 2007, the FAA issued a Market Survey (# 5434) for the Regional Telecommunications Support (RTS) procurement. It stated that the RTS procurement will be a set aside for Small Business Administration (SBA) certified socially and economically disadvantaged firms, 8(a), with a GSA Schedule 70 contract. The responding vendors were asked to describe recent and relevant Government or private sector experience including contract numbers and points of contact, which demonstrates ability to meet and manage the following current requirements for telecommunications support, see the 2/20/07 announcement for the requirements in more detail. 1. Knowledge of the FAA Telecommunication services environment. 2. Site Surveys 3. Development of Transition plans 4. Installation and Maintenance 5. FTI Transition 6. Administrative and Budget support After reviewing the information received against the six FAA requirements listed in the 2/20/2007 announcement, the FAA has selected the following 8(a) firms with a GSA Schedule #FSC Group 070 contract to be sent the RTS Screening Information Request (SIR) asking for proposals. 1.
