- This special notice is being posted in lieu of multiple, separate award notices. Prior to 27 September 2007 and based on FAR Part 6.302-2 criteria (unusual and compelling urgency) and FAR Part 13.106-1(b), on a class basis, Federal Student Aid will award several contracts to the software product owners listed below. These contracts will enable the continued and expanded use and ongoing maintenance support of the "brand name" software products being used by the incumbent data center provider. Also, that will be initially used by the replacement data center provider, at least until it completes the data center transition effort currently in progress. Software publishers receiving contract awards include: Bowe, Bell & Howell; Decision Technology Inc.; DTS Software; Group 1; GT Software; Innovation; Mainstar; Metastorm; Netec; OpenTech Systems; Phoenix Software; Response Systems Inc.; TACT; Unicom; Web Trends. The estimated total value of all contract awards is $2,380,035.00.
