- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subparts 12.6 and 13.5 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are beieing requested by this notice alone, and written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsis / solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal for a Body Scanner used by the Government of Nigeria pursuant to an agreement with the U.S. Department of State. The Regional Procurement Support Office (RPSO) based in Frankfurt Germany under the US Consulate General has a requirement to procure a Body Scanner for detecting all foreign objects in and outside the Human Body such as hidden/swallowed contraband (narcotics, weapons, explosives etc..) 1. Body Scanner consisting of: a)Walking Gate, b)Movable Platform, c)Generator, d)Controller PC, e)Viewer PC, f)Interface Unit, g)High Resolution Monitor, h)Operator Desk, i) Related Instruments g) Manuals 2. Transportation (CIF Abuja, Nigeria) 3. On-site Installation with operator training including technician travel and hotel expenses 4. Regular services and calibration visits (3 visits from date of installation for first 12 months) 5. Standard Warranty for 12 months Place of Delivery: Abuja, Nigeria. Needed by date: 12 to 14 weeks after award. Offers shall clearly state that all items and services specified herein are included in the total offer price and shall separately price each item listed above. Award will be subject to the laws and regulation of the United States of America and is being competed utilizing full and open competition procedures.
