- Description
- Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest is seeking a contractor for the construction of Lovell Trailhead, Lovell Wash Concrete Culvert, and the reconstruction of the segment of the road between the two sites. The work at the trailhead will include rough and finish grading, placement of boulders, buck and pole fence construction, 3-panel bulletin board, and site identification sign base construction. The culvert work will include cast-in-place reinforced concrete box culverts with associated concrete wingwall construction. The roadway between the two sites will require grading to re-establish proper drainage. The work will begin between September and October 2007. The estimated duration is 120 days. The estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. Under the provisions of the Small Business Competetiveness Demonstration Act, this procurement is made using full and open competition, and is not set-aside. A solicitation will be posted at this site on or about August 1, 2007, and will consist of specifications, drawings and offer forms. An offer guarantee is required in the amount of 20% of your proposed price. Awards may be made on initial offers. Offerors are encouraged to register at this site for updates. If there is an organized pre-proposal site walk, the details will be outlined in the solicitation.
