- Under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements," the Department of the Interior/National Business Center intends on awarding a sole source contract to Mississippi State University in an estimated amount of $150,000.00 for "Aquaculture Program Development for Catfish and Trout," on behalf of the Department of Agriculture (USDA), Risk Management Agency (RMA), Office of Product Management. Mississippi State University had performed a large portion of the research related to this work under a partnership with USDA that will expire on September 30, 2007. The sole source contract will be for the finalization of this work, support during the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) Board review, and a training package. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541990 and the Product Service Code (PSC) is B599.
