- Headquarters, US Army Sustainment Command (ASC) is seeking possible sources of supply for the acquisition of approximately 78,000 pounds of Magnesium Carbonate, Grade B, for M18 and M83 Smoke Grenades IAW MIL-DTL-11361E and NOR A34-0001-001 dated 07 Jun 2007. Any future requirement must be packaged in 50 lb moisture barrier lined bags, and bags will be palletized. NOTE: The military specification has changed. Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), a Certificate of Analysis with heavy metals analysis, laser diffra ction particle size analysis, and thermal analysis with endothermal plot as well as other data will be required. Interested sources need to submit terms and conditions, production capability and delivery lead times, warranty, and cost estimates for budget ary purposes only. Delivery shall be FOB Destination: Pine Bluff Arsenal, Pine Bluff AR. There is not a firm requirement for Magnesium Carbonate. This is for MARKET RESEARCH ONLY. Participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with no cost or obligation to be incurred by the Government. The information you provide will only be utilized by ASC in developing its acquisition approach for future requirements.
