D-OMB Circular A-76: Department of Defense (DoD) Public-Private Competition of the Directorate of Logistics (DOL) performed by the Department of the Army, Installation Management Command (IMCOM) located at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Document Type: Special Notice POC: Ms. Diane Black, Contracting Officer Classification Code: 561210 Description: THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION NOTICE. In accordance with Office of the Management and Budget Circular A-76 (Revised), Performance of Commercial Activities, May 29, 2003, this notice represents the formal public announcement of the official star t date of a public-private competition of the Directorate of Logistics at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. The incumbent service providers affected by this public-private competition are approximately 305 DoD government personnel positions: 305 DoD civilians and no military. The three DoD contracts also affected are as follows: Contract DABJ23-03-P-0052, Wardrobe Repair with Roberts & Cox Incorporated; W911S7-07-D-0001, Gravoply Badges/Nameplates with BUR-LANE; and W911S7-07-P-0005, Foot-Measuring System wit h DANA-SAAD CO. A standard competition will be conducted in accordance with the revised circular. The solicitation will be issued at a later date. Prospective private sector and public reimbursable service providers are encouraged to respond to the solicitation. The Department of Defense Competitive Sourcing Official is Mr. Philip W. Grone, Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Installations and Environment). The Department of the Army Component Competitive Sourcing Official is Mr. Keith E. Eastin, Assistant Secreta ry of the Army (Installations and Environment). The Army has delegated selected standard competition responsibilities to the U.S. Army Installation Management Command Delegated Competitive Sourcing Official, Mr. Philip E. Sakowitz, Jr., Executive Director . The date of this public announcement is the official start date for this public-private competition and the projected end date of the competition is 24 March 2009. The Contracting Officer is Ms. Diane Black and the Agency Tender Official is the Deputy Garrison Commander.
