- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format contained FAR Subpart 12.6. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION. QUOTES ARE REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Quotes shall refer ence Request for Quotes (RFQ) number W911RZ-07-T-JM31. This announcement incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-19 and FAR 52.212-1. It is the Contractor's responsibility to be familiar with all applicable c lauses and provisions. This requirement is Unrestricted. The NAICS code for this procurement is 333512 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. Quotes shall include: CLIN 0001. Vertical Mitering Band Saw Model V-25. Machine is designed and produced with electro-welded, hvy gauge steel components for maximum rigidity and support. Leveling bolts at bottom of base. Tech Spec Blade Size 1 1/2in x .050in x 21ft 0.5in, Blade Drive 10HP, Drive Wheel -32in, Idler -24in equipped with heavy-duty wh eel & gearbox shaft bearings, moveable guide arm, blade guides provide cut accuracy of +/-.002in per linear inch, powered blade brush, 6degree Canted Head that positions the blade to approach the material on a 6 degree incline, Hyd blade tensioning, Haloge n work light attached, Hyd Drive 3HP, 1200 PSI, 7US gal Hyd Tank Capacity, 38 US gal Coolant Tank Capacity, Machine Weight 9,300 lbs, 10,000 lbs workload, Dimensions 97in w X152in d X 123in h, Dimension with full miter swing 141in w X 152in d X 101in h, Ta ble Height 44in. Controls are located on console at front of machine. Blade Breakage Switch that shuts off circuit if blade breaks. Electrical control comp in back of machine.
