- This is not a solicitation, but a Notice of Contract Action. The United States Air Force (USAF), Air Force 579TH Medical Dental Group (MDG), Air Force District of Washington (AFDW), Contracting Division (AFDW/A7KM), intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to the Phoenix TeleData Services, Inc. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, tools, materials, supervision, transportation, labor, and other services necessary to maintain the 579th Medical Group eOn Appointment Telephone System located at building 1300, Bolling AFB, DC. REQUIREMENTS. The contractor shall provide a fully trained and qualified technician either on site or remotely for the duration of the maintenance contract, to support the 579th Medical Group?s need to include the following: Telecommunications systems maintenance, Troubleshoot and repair problems with the voice mail software and telephone cards and/or ports as necessary, Monitor and run diagnostics on the existing eOn telephone system to minimize and identify system/equipment failures; to provide preventative maintenance services as required, Provide one time basic user administration training to new users, Provide a point of contact, telephone number and or beeper number for maintenance calls PERIOD OF MAINTENANCE. All required maintenance services (labor only) shall be performed during normal business hours between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, exclusive of Government holidays (regular hours), unless such services involve the use of authorized After Hours (labor only) at the higher after hours rate. Under the authority of USC 2304(c)(1) pursuant to FAR 6.302.1(2)(b)(1)(i), the property or services needed by the agency are available from only one responsible source or only from a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of property or services will satisfy the needs of the agency. A determination not to compete this proposed contract is based on market research and is solely within the discretion of the Government. This announcement is not a request for competitive quotations. Inquiries should be directed no later than, 8:00 a.m., 28 Sep 2007, referencing F1A4A07178A006, to Ms. Lasondia Chaney, Contract Specialist, lasondia.chaney@bolling.af.mil. The Government will review all responses, without prejudice, whether or not the Government initially determines that another firm is fully qualified to fulfill the AFMOA/SGD requirement.
