- This is a notice of intent to negotiate a sole source agreement, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1, for a service/maintenance agreement with The Sherman Engineering Company, of 3679 Old Easton Rd., Doylestown PA 18901. The Government believes that only one responsible source can meet the unique requirements presented below, as the result of internal market research. Other persons/organizations may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by 3:00 p.m. EST, September 28, 2007. A determination by the Contracting Officer not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notices is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. All inquiries must be submitted in writing (email) with "Nash Air Pumps" in the subject line; telephone inquiries will not be accepted, nor responses received after the close time/date. The applicable NAICS Code is 811310 (Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment except Automotive and Electronic Repair and Maintenance). The Government's requirements are as follows: 1. A full service/maintenance agreement for Nash Medical air and medical Vacuum pumps at the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, NY. 2. Access to and authorization to distribute nash_elmo equipment. Service company must be fully authorized to distribute new replacement parts and have access to nash_elmo repair centers for repair or testing of nash_elmo pumps in this area. 3. Ability to repair any Nash or nash_elmo equipment to original standards, as per detailed dimensional parts drawings and critical internal pump dimensions. This is proprietary information of Sherman Engineering, as the sole nash_elmo representatives of the region. Any vendor believing that they can meet these criteria as well or better than the listed model shall contact the provided POC before the closing date to provide proof of their capabilities.
