- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to determine the interests and capabilities of Service Disabled Veteran-Owned small firms with regard to an upcoming acquisition for construction services at the Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI. The firm must be a General Construction company with an approved NAICS Code 237990 and a bonding capacity of approximately $20 million. The contractor shall provide construction services to develop approximately 30 acres, with 11,000 pre-placed crypts, 1,500 in-ground gravesites for cremated remains, and 7,000 columbarium niches; administration building, assembly area, maintenance garage, contractor storage garage, roadway system, and parking; site furnishings; grading, drainage, fencing, and landscaping; utility distribution system; and environmental preservation and mitigation. The estimated cost for this project is between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000. Service Disabled Veteran-Owned small firms having the skills and capabilities necessary to perform the stated requirements are invited to provide information to contribute to this market survey/sources sought. Responses must include the following information and are limited to 10 pages or less: 1. RFI announcement number and name. 2. Company name, address, point of contact with phone number and e-mail address. 3. Individual and aggregate bonding limits and current capacity. 4. Construction experience of similar projects in size and scope. Describe 3 projects in the last 3 years and include: (a) Contracting Agency Address & contracting officer's name and telephone number. (b) Contract Number, date and amount of award, date of completion of your portion of the contract. (c) Description of Items/Services provided under the contract. (d) If any bonding was provided, what was the amount of bonding? (e) If performance was as a subcontractor, please provide the name, address and telephone number of the point of contact at the prime contractor.
