Description
SOLICITATION # SPM4A607R0848 IS HEREBY AMENDED TO FY'08 SOLICITATION # SPM4A608R0023. DSCR plans to award an Indefinite Quantity Contract with a one-year period with provisions included to extend the term of the contract up to two (2) one-year periods. The Solicitation Number will be SPM4A6-07-R0848; IQC07183009009; R-J07037029. This IQC covers NSN 9150 01 410 8972 (Unit of Issue: 1 Quart (QT)). The Acquisition Item Description (AID) cites this item as the following: LUBRICATING OIL, REFRIGERANT COMPRESSOR. The estimated annual quantity is 3,552. The solicitation will be Unrestricted and will result in a Firm Fixed Price with EPA Adjustments under provisions of FAR Part 12. Approved sources cited in the AID are as follows: CASTROL NORTH AMERICA, SPECIALTY PRODUCTS DIVISION CAGE 2R128, P/N ICEMATIC SW-68; MOBIL OIL CORPORATION CAGE 77988, P/N MOBIL ARCTIC EAL 68; VIRGINIA KMP INC. CAGE 8J132, P/N EMKARATE RL68H; TEXACO INC. CAGE 59595. Distribution Planning and Management System (DPMS) will be incorporated into the solicitation (Reference DLAD 47.305-8 DPMS Pilot). This is a synopsis for a commercial item IAW the procedures of FAR 5.201 and FAR 5.203. This NSN is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI) per SAP interrogation on 13 August 2007. MSDS/OSHA Hazardous Warning Label are required. The solicitation does not contain progress payments. Delivery requirement is 30 days after receipt of order or best possible delivery. FOB Destination with Inspection Acceptance Destination is required but FOB Origin with Inspection Acceptance at Origin is required for DPMS. The final contract award decision may be based on a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in this solicitation. Surge requirements apply therefore a surge plan detailing how the surge quantity requirements will be met must be submitted along with offer.
