- The Western Area Power Administration intends to acquire on a Sole Source basis rewind and test core distribution 750 KVA transformer to include replacement of bushings and other necessary parts to GE Energy Services as they are the only known vendor that can work on a 750 KVA transformer within the vicinity of Brush, CO. Western believes GE Energy Services is the only known source that can provide this item. Anticipated award is 28 Sep 07. This notice is not a request for proposals/quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the Government???s requirements by emailing the CS or faxing the CS at 970-240-6314. Capability statements must include documentation ability to satisfy the Government???s requirements. Interested persons should identify their interest and capability to the Contracting Officer. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This will be unrestricted. The NAICS Code is 335311 and the applicable size standard is 750 employees. The Request for Quotes will be issued electronically on or about 21 Sep 07. Quotes may be faxed, mailed, e-mailed, or submitted electronically. Contractor must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be considered for award. Contractors may register at www.ccr.gov. DUNS number is required for CCR registration. Contractor???s CCR registration must include the NAICS code specified above and Contractor must meet the size standard applicable to the NAICS. Quotes are due by 12:00 PM Mountain Time on Wednesday, September 26, 2007. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (20-SEP-2007).
