Description
**AMENDMENT** This second amendment is to post the revised statement of work. Please email SSgt Fowler at christian.fowler@pope.af.mil for a copy of the floor plans. The bid due date remains 21 Sept 07 @ 4:30 p.m. STATEMENT OF WORK PURCHASE & INSTRALLATION OF THE COMBAT CONTROL HERITAGE HALL AUDIO VISUAL SYSTEM A). This Statement of Work (SOW) is for the purchase and installation of fully customized audio visual system in the Heritage Hall of the Combat Control School at Pope Air Force Base (AFB), North Carolina. The system will consist of a minimum of three stainless steel customized kiosks, two 50? plasma monitors, all associated mounting hardware, and customized audio visual control system. The kiosks will be positioned in accordance with users? requirements and will display customized historical material provided by the user and software developed by the contractor. In addition the kiosk will have touch screen capability for navigation of available media. The kiosk will also contain an on board audio system, which will be controlled from a central location. Each kiosk will be stand-alone station, and will contain one user provided PC. AC power will be provided by the user at required locations. All cabling required for the kiosk will be supplied by the contractor. The plasma screens will be secured and mounted at locations chosen by the user. All required cabling and hardware will be provided by the contractor. For each of the plasma monitors a dedicated DVD/VCR shall be provided, and connected. A computer connection is also required, the computer will be provided by the user, and the contractor is responsible for connection to the system. All support equipment will be located in an assigned room that will be provided by the owner. All computers and support equipment will be properly protected with an UPS system. UPS system will be provided by user. The contractor will install/mount four (4) user provided flat panel monitors and wall mounts. The contractor will install/mount and connect to stand-alone PC and one (1) Government provided smart-board in Operations office. Contractor will install/mount four (4) Government provided proximas in classrooms. The contractor is responsible for providing a fully customizable software program designed for professional Audio Visual creation. They shall also include all required tools for the importing of any type media, with the capabilities to edit, re-format, add audio, and export such media to the entire system. All software licenses and up-dates shall be included. A minimum of three days of training will be provided by the contractor. The trainer will be a professional in audio video production. The contractor shall ensure proper fit, spacing, function, and layout according to the owner?s provided instructions. The contract shall be responsible for removing and disposing of all packing materials after installation and clean area of dirt and debris after installation. The contractor shall actively protect all building areas, to include landscaping, from damage during delivery, installation and clean up and is responsible for all damages caused by their actions. B). Submittal packages will include a project of similar size and scope in order to demonstrate to the user and 43 Contracting Squadron that the bidder understands the requirements of this project. The contractor will provide all associated operating manuals, instruction booklets, user safety guidelines, warranty/ maintenance documentation, etc for all equipment. C). Delivery and installation of all equipment will be delivered to the Combat Control School on or about 15 October 2007. The contractor will be contacted prior to the delivery date to coordinate delivery times and facility access.
