- This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 12. This announcement constitutes a Request for Quotation; proposals are being requested. This procurement is Set aside 100% Small Business. The Small business size standard is 750 employees. Solicitation number F3H2B17225AG01 is issued as a request for quotation. Funds are currently available. Quotations must be valid until Sunday, September 30, 2007. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-04. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334310. Offutt AFB intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the Procurement and installation of 3 AXIS indoor network video cameras or equal: The contractor will supply all parts, materials, supplies, labor and personnel required to procure and install 3 AXIS indoor network video cameras to include fixed wall housings, subscriber unit,access point, antenna and additional components to an existing ?wireless ip? CCTV system. Please see the attached Statement Of Need for further details of this requirement. A site visit will be held on Monday 17 September 2007 at 10:00am CST on Offutt AFB, NE 68113. Attendance of the site visit is not required for the submission of a quote. Please be at contractors?s gate (SAC gate) NO LATER THAN 9:50am CST. Address any questions in writing to Jeremiah Keenan at jeremiah.keenan@offutt.af.mil Statement Of Need Install 2 each AXIS 212 PTZ cameras within the pumping area of building 441 Install 1 each AXIS 210 Fixed camera within the office area of building 441. Install 1 each Subscriber Unit at building 441. Install 1 each Access Point at building 585 (RCC) Re-align existing and new cameras to add redundancy to the CCTV system. Building 441- With the addition of the cameras to this location, it is necessary to add a Subscriber Unit. The Subscriber Unit (SU) will be added and the 9 cameras (6 existing and 3 new) will be realigned between the new total of 2 SU?s (1 existing and 1 new). This will allow the SU?s to share the load and adds redundancy to this building. A speaker will also be added to the office in building 441, in the office area; which will allow for 2 way voice communications with the RCC. Building 585- With the addition of network cameras to the existing CCTV system, it is necessary to add an additional Access Point (AP). The AP will be added at the same location as the existing systems radios. With the addition of the second AP, all the cameras system wide will need to be realigned.The contractor will need to change what Access Point controls which camera at most of the locations throughout the CCTV system. With this re-alignment if one AP fails, half of the system will stay operating until repairs to the down AP are made. Speakers and a microphone will be added to the system monitoring PC at the RCC to allow for 2 way voice communications with other networked buildings. Required equipment or equal.
