- Amendment 0001: Two manufacturers who have been determined to meet this requirement are Clarifying Technologies CAM-FPB and Daniel Technology BAM. //// This synopsis/solicitation is for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.603, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice; a paper solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotation (RFQ) number 07-Q-E004951 shall be referenced on any price quote. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-19, Effective 17 September 2007. All future information about this acquisition including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This RFQ is being conducted as a 100% small business set aside. The Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) has a requirement for the following items: 0001. Quantity: (10) each pn: CAM-FPB Clarifying Array Microphone Processor Board 0002. Quantity: (14) each pn: CAM-PM24 Pre-Wired 24 Microphone 0003: Quantity 8 each pn: CT-BAM Body Array Microphone .Salient Characteristics: The microphone summing processor shall 1. accept input from at least 20 microphones, 2. Provide for impedance matching of the attached microphones 3. Provide both line level and microphone level outputs 4. Operate from 3.6 ? 9 VDC with a maximum current draw of 10mA. Please Note: Include your company?s shipping terms in the quote. Any shipping costs that will be applied to this requirement shall be included in the quote. Please also include the estimated delivery time of the items. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 3663 and the business size standard is 500 employees. The Government will award a firm fixed price purchase order resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsible offeror with the lowest cost/technically acceptable offer conforming to this combined synopsis/solicitation. The Government is not responsible for locating or securing any information, which is not identified in the quotation, but may do so at its discretion. Award is anticipated ASAP after receipt of quotes. Please carefully review the commercial item FAR clauses for information about requirements and instructions for submitting a quotation. The following provisions and clauses apply to this procurement and are available on www.arnet.gov: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror- Commercial Items (JAN 2006); FAR provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (SEP 2006). Award shall be made to the lowest cost, technically acceptable responsible quote. The Government reserves the right to award without discussions; therefore, it is critical that each quote be fully responsive. However, the FBI also reserves the right to conduct discussions, if later determined to be necessary. The lessor/contractor will agree to insert terms that conform substantially to the language of this clause in all contracts/subcontracts. All quotes from responsible sources will be considered.
