- This synopsis is cancelled in its entirety. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award on a sole source basis a Purchase Order to the University Of North Carolina School of Public Health, Chapel Hill, NC 27599. The purpose of the purchase order shall be to provide an Enhancement Program Evaluation, Dissemination and Translation of CDC Tribal Motor Vehicle Injury Prevention Program. The National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC) is currently funding four Native American tribes to design, implement, and evaluate effective injury prevention programs to reduce motor vehicle-related injuries and deaths among members of their communities. The authority for this procurement is FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Anticipated award date is September 21, 2007. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Firms that believe they can provide the services required are encouraged to identify themselves and provide written notification to the contracting officer within 15 days from the date of this synopsis. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
