- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13 ? Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/ ). The RFQ number is N00189-07-T-0636. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-18 and Defense FAR Supplement Change Notice 20070531. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 488330 and the Small Business Standard is $6.5 million. This is a sole source action with a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Contracting Department, Norfolk Office, Norfolk VA, 23511-3392 requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing and installing 2 each of Kongsberg virtual binocular to include tracker hardware, tracker software interface and hand held display. Delivery shall be 30 days after the receipt of the order. Requested delivery is F.O.B. Destination to the U. S. Naval Station, Annapolis Hangar Building 234, Annapolis Md. 21402. Responsibility and Inspection: unless otherwise specified in the order, the supplier should be responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control.
