- On or about 22 Sep 07, The 316th Contracting Squadron at Andrews Air Force Base intends to post a solicitation on www.fedbizzopps.gov for personnel to provide upgrades to the Fire Training Simulator Facility on Andrews Air Force Base. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. This commercial acquisition will be accomplished in accordance with FAR Parts 12, 13, and 15. The contractor is expected to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services not identified as Government Furnished Property and Services. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS Code) is 236210. The desired delivery date is 30 days after award of the contract. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation, notices, and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading at the Federal Business Opportunity Web site at www.fedbizzops.gov. No paper copies will be issued. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the aforementioned site regularly for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors interested in submitting proposals must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE Code) and be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, it does not restrict the Government to its acquisition approach, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation cost.
