- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Directorate of Contracting at the Presidio of Monterey, CA intends to negotiate and award to Transparent Language, INC, 12 Murphy Dr. Nashua, NH. 03062-1903 for a one (1) year renewal Subscription, Annual Maintenance and Technical Support Plan and Updates/Upgrade Stream for CL-150. The subscription is to provide the Defense Language Institute foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) with continued updates and upgrades to the delineated CL-150 applications currently being accessed by DLI Resident and Non-Resident users. Subscription period September 27, 2007 through September 27, 2008, this combined synopsis/solicitations closes 25 September 2007. This requirement shall be awarded as a firm fi xed price contract under solicitation number W9124N-07-R-0020. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541511, SIC Code is 7371and FSC 7030. The following FAR, DFARS and most current FAC 05-20 apply to this acquisition. FAR52 .212-1, 52.212-2, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, 52.212-5 52.213-2, 52.204-9, and 52.252-2. DFARS252.212-7001. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authorit y of FAR 6302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. However, this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received on or before September 25, 2007 for this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received normal ly would be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
