- Description
- The Missile Defense Agency intends to award a twelve-month, sole source contract for video teleconferencing infrastructure, facilities and environment (VTC) support services for the National Capital Region and satellite locations to SIGCOM, Inc., 4230 Beechwood Drive, Greensboro, North Carolina 27410. Contract award is expected on or about November 17, 2007. The anticipated NAICS code is 541513. Due to internal re-engineering efforts that will result in organizational changes that will affect the VTC requirements, the Contracting Officer has determined that an interim sole source bridge contract is in the best interest of the Government. It is contemplated that the support services for VTC will be incorporated into the Agencys proposed Missile Defense Agency Engineering and Support Services (MiDAESS) procurement. Companies are encouraged to monitor FedBizOpps announcements for any related future requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No formal solicitation package is available. Any responses received will be reviewed and considered for future planning purposes only. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the government. The government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in responding to this notice.
