Collect calls wil not be accepted.***** This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued, paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. This is a commercial solicitation using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found in FAR Part 13, solicitation no. FA 4690-07-Q-0041 and is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ) on 12 September 2007. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-20. FAR clause descriptions are available via the Internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. The set-aside for this solicitation is 100% small business. NAICS code: 314912. Size Standard: 500 employees. This solicitation is for the following: CLIN 0001: 60 Inlet Plugs for B-1 Bomber, 18 oz. cover light velcro flap with 1" yellow Pull strap CLIN 0002: 120 Canvas Pitot Tube Covers, for B-1 Bomber, made of #8 Canvas (60 Large and 60 Small Covers). . The estimated date of delivery will be 10 October 2007 with FOB: Destination for delivery to 28 AMXS, 2037 Bergstom Dr. Bldg. 7270 Ellsworth AFB, SD 57706. The Government will award a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government.
