- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-18. This acquisition is a 100% set-aside for small business. The NAICS code for this requirement is 337214. The size standard is 500 employees. The FLETC has a requirement for FURNITURE. Items are as follows: (Brand Name or Equal) (sizes, colors and materials are the minimum requirements) 1. Fixtures Furniture Model Number 10140: Table Top, 24? x 36?, Thunder laminate with Molding Edging, Y40 Gloss Black Finish; quantity of 160 Table Tops each 2. Fixtures Furniture Model Number 15222: Table Base, for 24? x 36? Table Top, Base Size is 1-1/2? diameter x 24? x 27-3/4?H, Black Texture, Two Table Bases per Table Top for total quantity of 320 Table Bases each. Pricing should be FOB Destination to FLETC, Artesia, NM and include all applicable Federal, State and local taxes. Delivery should be within 30 days after receipt of order. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR); the web site for registration is http://www.bpn.gov if registration has not been accomplished. Use the following web site to access clauses that have been incorporated by reference: http://www.acquisition.gov. All quotations must include a completed 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications/ Commercial Items (Nov 2006). The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items (Feb 2007), applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by reference. The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items (June 2007), applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by reference. Of the available clauses, the following apply and are incorporated by reference: 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal (Aug 1999); 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror -- Commercial Items (Sept 2006); 52.219-6, Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside (June 2003); 52.222-3, Convict Labor (Jun 2003); 52.222-19, Child Labor ? Cooperation with Authorities and Remedies (Jan 2006); 52.222-21, Prohibition of Segregated Facilities (Feb 1999); 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity (Mar 2007); 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities (Jun 1998); and 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration (Oct 2003). The Government will award, on an all or none basis, a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (1) Technical acceptability of items offered to meet minimum Government requirements and (2) Price and price related factors. Inquiries and information received after the established deadline shall not be considered for this particular acquisition. Pursuant to the Brand Name or Equal clause; the offeror must provide descriptive literature of item being offered. Equal will be evaluated based on the information furnished by the offeror.
