- The General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) Greater Southwest Acquisition Center (GSAC) is responsible for products and services under Multiple Award Schedule 56, Pre-Engineered & Prefabricated Buildings, Building Materials, Power Generation/Distribution Equipment, Warehouse Equipment, Maintenance and Repair Shop Equipment, Industrial Products, and Related Services. As part of this responsibility, we are requesting information about current commercially available energy efficient, alternative and/or renewable energy products and services. We are also interested in projected Agency requirements for energy efficient, alternative and/or renewable energy sources. Specifically, the GSAC is requesting information about renewable and alternative energy generation and power distribution solutions. SPECIFIC INFORMATION REQUESTED: The GSAC is actively soliciting sources for energy efficient, renewable and/or alternative energy commercial solutions, to increase the number and diversity of solutions currently available under Schedule 56. To that end, please provide the following information: A. Descriptions of the types of energy efficient, alternative and/or renewable energy generation or power distribution solutions currently available for sale in the commercial marketplace. B. Examples of energy efficient, alternative and/or renewable energy solution projects under commercial or government task orders. C. Identification of Federal Agencies utilizing energy efficient, alternative and/or renewable energy power generation or power distribution solutions. D. Information regarding commercial energy efficient, alternative and/or renewable energy generation or power distribution solutions trends. Additionally, you are invited to provide any additional information regarding energy efficient, alternative and/or renewable energy generation or power distribution solutions that are not addressed above. Any suggestions that would improve the use and value of Schedule 56 to meet energy efficient, alternative and/or renewable energy generation or power distribution solutions requirements will be greatly appreciated and are actively solicited. This Sources Sought Notice may be considered as a request for proposals under solicitation 7FCI-F8-03-0056-B. The Government encourages submittal of proposals for multiple award contracts under Schedule 56, based on interest from commercial firms and Federal Agencies. All products offered must comply with the requirements of the Trade Agreements Act. Duplicate products currently offered under another GSA Schedule contract will not be considered. Industry is encouraged to respond with information not constrained by proprietary data rights. However, if proprietary data is included in your reply, please mark it appropriately.
