- Description
- The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers requires a contract for the East River Turning Basin, Brunswick Harbor, Brunswick, Georgia. The project includes clearing, grubbing and excavation of approximately 18 acres for creation of marsh from existing hammoc k areas. Approximately 105,000 cubic yards of material will need to be excavated transported, and placed into Andrews Island disposal area. Procurement of these services will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract. The anticipated range is between $1,000 ,000 and $5,000,000. The procurement is a competitive 8(a) procurement. Competition is limited to 8(a) construction firms having a bona fide branch office located in Region IV. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code 238910. The size standard for this NAICS code is 13 Million. The solicitation will be a request for Proposal (RFP) that will be evaluated The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be availa ble in electronic format, downloadable from the internet. No CD-ROMs or hardcopy documents will be distributed. Offerors must be registered in the CCR and at the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) Homepage (https://www.fedteds.gov/)in order to vie w or download the solicitation documents. It is the responsibility of offerors to monitor the website for notices and amendments.
