PRON: AX7F0465AX, Converter, Signal DA, NSN: 6620-01-337-5630, PN: 70450-01916-103, Quantity: Min: 80 each, Max: 480, 5 year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) requirement applicable to the UH-60. FOB point is Origin, with deliveries to New C umberland, PA . The required delivery schedule is 80 each, 363 Days after Contract Award (DACA). It is restricted to Sikorsky (78286), and CMC Electronique (90073), because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. In accordance with DFARS 225.870-1, all contracts awarded to a Canadian Contractor must be awarded to the Canadian commercial Corporation (CCC), Cage Code 98247, and in turn the CCC will award the contract to t he approved subcontractor, in this case CMC Electroniques, Inc. the actual manufacturer. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved sour ce(s). Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to ident ify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsibl e sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date st ated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
