- Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the U.S. Army Natick Contracting Division, Kansas Street, Natick, MA on behalf of the United States Army-Soldier Systems Center, Natick, MA intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a sole source basis wit h Illinois Instruments, Inc., 2401 Hiller Ridge Road, Johnsburg, Illinois 60050, to provide an Oxygen Permeation Analyzer Master Control Unit and Expansion Module. Illinois Instruments is the only source that can provide these products that are needed to measure the oxygen permeability analysis of packaging films, and meet the testing and operating requirements set forth by Natick Soldier Research, Development and Engineering Center (NSRDEC). Nothing herein should be misconstrued as a request for proposal . No solicitation document is available. See Note 22 which reduces the response time to 5 days.
