Description
Contracting office Address: USPFO For Indiana, Purchasing and Contracting, 2002 South Holt Rd. Indianapolis, IN 46241-4839. Camp Atterbury, Edinburgh, IN is soliciting proposals for the purchase of 4 Public Address Systems. The work will consist of the following task to be performed: Build four PA system to provide general announcement, music playback (CD and MP3), and audio warning capabilities. The system must be able to be simply hooked-up and disconnected for storage. Systems must have lightnin g protection and surge protection from the electrical grid. All system wiring must be buried in conduit. Forward Operating Base FOB 1 (Warrior) System needs to provide coverage to a 15 acre compound. FOB 2 (Bayonet) -System needs to provide coverage to a n 80 acre compound. FOB 3 (Nighthawk) -System needs to provide coverage to a 25 acre compound. Rainbow Lane PA system  system needs to provide 25 acre coverage. Contractor shall build rack for PA system, bury wires, provide power amp, mixer, CD, MP3 pl ayer, Mic - desktop push to talk, watertight cables, Audio Isolation transformer, input output rack plate, Speakers and all other equipment that will result in a workable water and lightening protected system. DESTINATION: Camp Atterbury, Edinburgh, Indian a. Payment will be made by EFT To vendor as listed in CCR. Net 30 Terms. Offers are due no later than 12 noon, Friday, 21 September 2007. Offers shall be submitted to 1LT Stephens at: peter.stephens@us.army.mil. EVALUATION CRITERIA/PROCEDURES: Offers wi ll be evaluated based on the following best value criteria in descending order of technical capability trade offs Proposed Delivery Schedule, Past Performance, and Price. The result of the award will be posted in Fedbizopps (http://www.fbo.gov/) under Awa rd. Questions pertaining to the solicitation must be submitted in writing. All Electronic and Information Technology will be Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 compliant. The government reserves the right to select for award, all, some, or none of the proposals received in response to this announcement.
