- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in far subpart 12.6-streamlined procedures for evaluation and solicitation for commercial items-as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This is a solicitation of Purchase Request F1W1S27228A001 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-20.The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541330 with a small business size standard of $4.5 Million dollars. All responsible Contractors shall provide a quote for the following: Line Item 0001: Digital ATIS Tower System (or Equal) to meet the following requirements: -Be able to use/interface with DoD NIPRNET -An automated voice and data broadcast of Automatic Terminal Information System (ATIS) information -An Interface to ACARS data link (used by KC-135, C-5, C-40, c-32, C-37, C-38, and commercial carriers) receivable on cockpit display -Graphical, user-friendly interface -METAR data automatic reception from NTFS/IDS-5 -Manual recording option as required -Automatic validation of weather data -Interaction with GLOBAL Link network -Automated update of ATIS code to IDS-5 -Telephone coupler for dial-up monitoring capability -Able to link to Scott AFB system for monitoring -Sighting/installation and training for usage, Quantity: 1 Ea Shipping and Delivery: Shipping costs shall be included in line items and date of delivery shall be by NLT 30 days ARO. Additionally, offers of equal quality must include a copy of the technical description and/or product literature. Award will be made to the offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation is determined to be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
