- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation/reference number is FM285572400002-Humidity Chamber as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document and incorporate provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-19 (17 Sep 07) and 2005-20 (6 Sep 07) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) change notice 20070913. It is the offerors responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. The 311 Human Systems Wing Contracting Squadron is soliciting for a Humidity Chamber. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334515 and the size standard is 100 employees. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated by reference and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order or as deemed necessary by the cognizant contracting officer; FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Item (Sep 2006) and 52.215-5, Facsimile Proposals (Oct 1997) applies to this acquisition. Offerors must be registered in the Online Representations and Certifications system at http://orca.bpn.gov and provide a completed DFARS 252.225-7001, Buy American Act-Balance of Payment Program Certificate (Jun 2005) with the quote. Clauses and provisions may be accessed via the Internet, http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The clause at FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Feb 2007) is incorporated into this RFQ and is amended to add the following clauses: FAR 52.204-4, Printed or Copied Double-Sided on Recycled Paper (Aug 2000) and FAR 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration (Jul 2006) The solicitation number, FA8901-07-R-0102, will be made available on the Government Point of Entry (GPE), Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web site at http://www.fbo.gov. W x 18? D x 15? H 3.75 cubic feet of working space ?? clear acrylic, PS30 welded seams construction ?? Door with 12? x 12? access opening, gasket seal and ?-turn latch 1.5? dia. Cable Pass-Through 1? Hose Barb and compression fitting ports And include: Microprocessor PID Humidity/Temp Controller, Electro-tech model 5200-240-230 or equal Adjustable Humidity Range from ambient to 100% RH at 72 degrees F Ambient to 135 degrees F (55 C) Temperature Range Control Temperature Compensated Humidity/Temp Sensor Electro-tech model 554 or equal Humidification System, Electro-tech model 5462 or equal Heater Assembly with 32 CFM circulating fan, thermal protection, Electro-tech model 5474 or equal Switch and GFCI AC outlet 115 VAC must met North American Standards. Minimum of 1 year warranty.
