Description
Amendment 002: This is amendment to solicitation VA-250-07-RP-0109 to extend the solicitation date and to post questions. The solicitation will now change from September 19, 2007 from September 21, 2007 at 12:00pm EST. The solicitation will now close on September 21, 2007 at 12:00pm EST. Questions 1. Is the Bar Code scanner model VA4620VA discontinued? Answer: This type of scanner is not discontinued. The scanner is also listed under 46CK1-USB has all the pieces required for the 4620VA scanner 2. Can the Medication Carts and PC's be supplied by different vendors? Answer: Yes, the cart and PC or laptop can be supplied by a different vendor. The PC or laptop must meet our specifications stated in the Request for Proposal. 3. There is a quantity of 182 scanners and receivers but I need to verify that the pricing is only for 91 scanners/ receivers? Answer: We want to purchase 182 scanners, the request for more scanners to make sure that there are back ups. Pricing should reflect the requested quantity. 4. If proposing a laptop solution, would it be acceptable to propose a laptop with a 17" display, or is it required that a separate 17" display be provided? Answer: 17" flat panel or 17" laptop display is acceptable. 5. Please clarify what timeframe is required to achieve a full charge. Answer: 2 hours. 6. If proposing a laptop solution, would it be acceptable to propose a laptop with a 17" display, or is it required that a separate 17" display be provided? Answer: 17"display for laptop is fine. 7. If a vendor can provide all three, is a preference desired for one form factor over another? Answer: NONE 8. Is there a preference for Intel over AMD? Answer: No specification on model 9. What class, or family, of processor within the manufacturer specified above is required? Answer: No specification on model/cache/FSB/ specified on processor, only clock speed matches or exceeds. Speed is the issues equivalent to 3.2GHZ 10. Please clarify "pivot lock" specification. Is it desired to have a braking caster or a tracking caster in this instance? Answer: Medication carts need both braking and tracking wheels
