Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Privatized Corrections Contracting, Office, Washington, D.C., is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient substance abuse treatment services and mental health services within the San Juan, Puerto Rico area defined as follows: The contractor shall be located no further than two miles (in any direction) of the Residential Re-Entry Center located at Highway 848, km 1.0, St. Just, Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico 00978 the federal offenders are housed. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period to begin on 12-01-2007 with four (4) possible one-year option periods. Services will end (if all options years are exercised) on November 30, 2012. The request for quotation will be available on or after October 1, 2007 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities web site at http: //www.fedbizopps.gov. Instructions for downloading the RFQ are provided at this website; hard copies of the quotation will not be available from the Government. All future information about this acquisition, including quotation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date for the RFQ is on or about October 19, 2007. The BOP anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price requirements contract. All responsible businesses may submit a quote which will be considered by this agency. Faith-Based and Community -Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
