Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is HSTS04-07-P-DEP424 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 05-18. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334416 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2007-09-19 11:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com. FOB Destination shall be Grapevine, TX 76051 The DHS-Transportation Security Administration requires the following items, Meet or Exceed, to the following: LI 001, EDS Stand (less pole) with articulating or sliding mounting arm with capability to support Side by Side monitors(monitors will be CRT configuration per attached spec.), 1, EA; LI 002, EDS Stand (less pole) with articulating or sliding mounting arm with capability to support Side by Side Monitors (monitors will be Flat Screen LCD configuration per attached spec.), 1, EA; LI 003, EDS Stand (less pole) with articulating or sliding mounting arm with capability to support single (monitor will be Flat Screen LCD Configuration per attached spec.), 1, EA; LI 004, Stand (less pole) with articulating or sliding mounting arm with capability to support single (monitor will be CRT Configuration per attached spec), 1, EA; LI 005, 48? Mounting Pole, 1, EA; LI 006, 56? Mounting Pole, 1, EA; LI 007, 60? Mounting Pole, 1, EA; LI 008, Mountable Key Board Console for (L3/6000/GE 5500), 1, EA; LI 009, Mountable Standard Key board Tray, 1, EA; LI 010, Mountable Printer Tray, 1, EA; LI 011, Mountable Base, 1, EA; LI 012, Free Standing Base, 1, EA; For this solicitation, DHS-Transportation Security Administration intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. DHS-Transportation Security Administration is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, completed, real-time bids. All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com. Offerors that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to www.FedBid.com to complete their free registration. Offerors may not artificially manipulate the price of a transaction on www.FedBid.com by any means. If company is not registered in CCR, they may do so by going to CCR web site at http://www.ccr.gov. All offerors must submit a complete copy of the provision at TSAAMS 3.2.2.5-3, Offereor Representations and Certificaitons -Commercial items. New Equipment Only. No remanufactured products. TSA will not accept remanufactured products. Any used or remanufactured products must be returned to vendor at vendors expense. Vendors must contact William Dorwart via email at William.Dorwart@dhs.gov for any questions regarding this procurement. Along with the vendors FEDBID quote, vendors must submit existing product literature (containing product and product specification) to the above email address before the closing date of this solicitation. (please limit data to the items required in Line Items section of this request) Product must meet or exceed the specification listed in this announcement. Products that do not meet or exeed the required specifications will not be accepted and returned to the vendor at vendors expense. Vendor must be able to ship first article product within 14 days after award. Contract will be for a duration 24 months for a maximum of 240 total (for assembled units) based on the unit prices proposed.
