- (i) The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization , PL8322, Scott AFB, IL intends to issue a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Request for Quote (RFQ) Checkpoint Security Appliances. (iii) The RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC-2005-18. (iv) This RFQ is for the purchase of Checkpoint Security Appliances. v) Provide a price for each of the following items (vi). 6 each, CPAP-APXL-PWRM8, Check Point High Performance M8 Security Appliance & Integrated PWRU GW; 12 each, CPAP-APXL-DFBR, Intel Pro/1000 PF Dual Port Fiber; 6 each, CPAP-APXL-DLN2, NetXtreme 1000T + Dual PortEthernet Adaptor; 6 each, CPES-SS-PREMIUM, Premium Support, 24X7X365 unlimited technical support; 6 each, CPAP-APXL-DDL1, IBM 300GB Hot-Swap U320 10KSCSII SSL Disk Drive; 6 each, CPAP-APXL-MEM4, Additional Memory Upgrades (4GB). (a) Protests, as defined in section 33.101 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, that are filed directly with an agency, and copies of any protests that are filed with the General Accounting Office (GAO), shall be served on the Contracting Officer, DISA/DITCO, 2300 East Drive, Scott AFB, IL 62225. (b) The copy of any protest shall be received in the office designated above within one day of filing a protest with GAO. (End of Provision). All unit prices are firm fixed price. Section 508 ? see Statement of Work. (xiii) There is no DPAS rating. (xiv) Quotes must be received on or before close of business, Wednesday, September 21, 2007. Questions relating to this combined solicatation/synopsis must be received by the contracting officer by 12:00 central time on 19 September 2007.
