- NON-PERSONAL SERVICES: The Air Force intends to issue an award for the following services: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, test equipment, personal protective equipment and clothing, chemicals, transporatation and other incidentals necessary to travel to Tinker AFB, OK, to lease and maintain one crane. A Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) award is contemplated. The estimated award date is 14 Sep 07. Central Contractor Registration is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. ORCA registration is also required and contractors can register electronically at https://orca.bpn.gov. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. This is anticipated to be a competitive requirement. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
