- This is a combined/ synopsis for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this Request for Quotation (RFQ) is N00244- 07-T-0914. The government is looking for: Nomenclature: Military Uniform Embroidery and Hemming Descriptions/Specifications: 1. Approximately 150 sets of camouflage uniform per month, both green and desert types. A uniform set consists of a cover (hat), field jacket, shirt, and pants. 2. Embroidered items for enlisted and officer uniform consists of the following: a. Three (3) name tapes b. U.S. NAVY tape (1) c. Warfare Device tape d. Rating badge on the collar tapes (2) e. Rating badge on the cover (hat) (1) 3. Embroidered items on tapes will be sewn on the uniform. 4. Hemming of uniform as required. Delivery Instructions: 1. Address: Naval Special Warfare Center 2446 Trident Way Bldg 622 San Diego, Ca 92155 2. Schedules: a. Primary: Pick-up and Delivery times are every Tuesdays and Fridays b. Alternate: Coordinate with Naval Special Warfare Center?s assigned point-of-contact. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: https://farsite.hill.af.mil and www.arnet.gov/far. The NAICS code is 451130. This solicitation is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The place of delivery is San Diego, Ca, 92155, acceptance shall be at destination and FOB point is destination. Responsibility and Inspection: unless otherwise specified in the order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control. The following FAR provision and clauses are applicable to this procurement: 52.204-9, Personal Identity Verification of Contractor Personnel; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-- Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statues or Executive Orders Commercial Item applies with the following applicable clauses for paragraph (b): FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; FAR 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Special Disabled and Vietnam Era Veterans, FAR 52.222-36, Affirmative Action; 52.232-36, Payment by Third Party.
