- The Naval Air Systems Command, Aircraft Division (NAVAIR/AD) intends to contract on a sole source basis with FrontRange Solutions USA, Inc., 1150 Kelly Johnson Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80920-3927 for software maintenance for an existing FrontRange HEAT System, a ticketing and workflow system utilized by the National Help Desk in support of incoming and outgoing help desk calls. This procurement is a sole source requirement under NAICS Code 541511, Custom Computer Programming Services, under the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1). NAVAIR/AD intends to award a purchase order for this requirement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13. The software utilized by the HEAT system is proprietary to FrontRange, and FrontRange is the only firm authorized to provide maintenance on the HEAT system and the only firm that can meet the Navy?s requirement. This synopsis notice is issued for informational purposes only and no solicitation or RFQ for this requirement exists. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the Navy. See Note 22.
