- THIS IS A SPECIAL NOTICE THAT THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO SOLICIT AND NEGOTIATE WITH ONLY ONE SOURCE. Notice of intent to award firm fixed price sole source procurement for COMPOSTING to Gallatin County , 311 West Mainl, RM#304, Bozeman, MT 59715; for composting. Yellowstone National Park (YNP) generates approximately 2,500 tons of municipal solid waste, 250 tons of treated sewage sludge, and 325 tons of manure annually. YNP personnel shall transport the noted materials to the contractor's facility, year round, in 75 cubic yard compactor trailers and collection trucks. The number of loads will vary, depending on the time of year. During the summer months, approximately June 15th through August 30th, up to 36 tons per day will be delivered. During the remainder of the year, one 15 to 18 ton load will be delivered every seven to ten days. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabgility to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. THIS IS NOT REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. However, all quotes recieved within 7 calendar days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Responses must include detailed technical information and other technical literature pricing that is sufficent to make a determination for competition is feasible. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required prior to execution of award. If no response(s) are received, an award shall be made to Gallatin County.
