Description

This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. However, Request for Quotation (RFQ) 07SQ303227 will be issued simultaneously with this announcement to facilitate receipt of electronic quotes. This RFQ is issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is 100% set aside for small business. The NAICS code is 334220 Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communication Equipment Manufacturing, with a size standard of 750 Employees. The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region (LCR), has a requirement for the supply of single mode fiber optic outputs for an existing GPS Receiver with Standard Modulated IRIG-B copper single output; transmit side IRIG-B converters that can sit on a 19" shelf (rack mountable is preferred); wall mounted receivers (preferably, but can work with 19" rack mountable units); 40 (2 spares) Single Mode Jumpers; 25 hours of telephone technical support for 365 calendar days; and any and all necessary power supplies. The estimated delivery date is October 31, 2007. The RFQ contains a Statement of Work and all applicable clauses and provisions. Quotes are due September 24, 2007 by 4:00 p.m. local time and may be submitted electronically, by fax, or by mail to: Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region, Contracting Office (LC-3111), P.O.
