- The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Midwest Research Swine, Inc., 31009 654th Avenue, Gibbon, MN 55335, to purchase specific pathogen-free swine for research. No solicitation document e xists. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated capability is invited to submit written notification to the Contracting Offiver within ten calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in suffici ent detail to demonstrate the firm's ability to provide the stated capability. Information can be sent to the Contracting Officer at: USAMRAA, ATTN: MCMR-AAA-G (Peggi Lesnow), 820 Chandler Street, Frederick, MD 21702-5014. No telephone requests will be a ccepted. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by tyhe Government not to competed the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, USAMR AA will proceed with the sole source contract.
