Description
Pine Bluff Arsenal  PBA has a requirement to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement for Safety Shoe Mobile Services for 5 Years: Base Year plus 4 Option Years. THE SHOEMOBILE SERVICES REQUIRED MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Shoemobile shall c ome to PBA one day each month on a mutually agreed-upon weekday, excluding Friday and holidays. An alternate day may be scheduled due to illness or inclement weather. Shoemobile must be equiped to measure shoe sizes, and attendant shall assist with measu ring upon request. Contractor is required to ensure that all nonconductive safety footwear issued comply with ASTM F2412/F2413. Contractor is also required to ensure that all conductive safety footwear issued at PBA comply with ASTM F2412/F2413 and MIL -S A-A-50359B. Contractor shall ensure that shoemobile is stocked with no fewer than 2 styles of nonconductive safety shoes lace up and slipon, 2 styles of nonconductive safety boots lace-up and pull-on, and 1 style of conductive safety shoes lace-up in b oth mens and womens sizes. Contractor shall also ensure that shoemobile is stocked with no fewer than 2 styles of EH rated nonconductive boots 6 inches and 8 inches in men sizes. All footwear shall be in industry standard sizes and widths. All footwea r shall be priced under $125 per pair, with the exception of special request styles or sizes which shall not exceed $150. Prohibited items include the following: Insulated footwear; Camouflage pattern footwear; Rough finish leathers such as nubuck or seu de; and Foreign made footwear except for conductive styles. The following sizes in Mens footwear whole and half sizes ranging from 8 to 13 in medium, wide and extra wide widths and Womens footwear whole and half sizes ranging from 6 to 10 in narrow, med ium and wide widths must be stocked and readily available on the shoemobile. The following sizes in Mens footwear whole and half sizes ranging from 6 to 15 in extra narrow, narow, medium, wide and extra wide widths and womens footwear whole and half siz es ranging from 4 to 12 in extra narrow, narrow, medium, wide and extra wide widths must be available for special order from the shoemobile. Contractor shall ensure that all persons entering the shoemobile have signed approval for issuance of safety shoes , with the exception of the designated PBA respresentative. The specific form for this requirement will be agreed upon by both the Contractor and PBA. Attendent will provide both and individual sales slip one copy and a cosolidated sales slip three copie s to the PBA representative for all footwear issued. To maximize effectiveness, this BPA may be established with one or more contractors within the discretion of PBA.
