Description

This procurement is unrestricted with a sole source brand name requirement. The planned solicitation release date is September 17, 2007. The estimated cost of this requirement is $102,750.00. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, su pplies and equipment to replace the hopper and compactor at the transfer station located at the United States Military Academy (USMA), West Point, New York. The Contractor shall remove the existing hopper and compactor from its base and place it to the si de. The Government will retain the existing hopper and compactor and all associated scrap materials. The Contractor shall provide and install one (1) new Marathon brand packer module, model M-800XW, and one (1) new Marathon brand cylinder and power modul e, model 8-2050G. Installation shall include a new I-beam sub-base frame, fabrication of the hopper above the packer module to specifications, and electrical hook-up.
