Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. We have a requirement for one Raytheon Solipsys Division Level Theater Briefing System and two (2) Brigade Operations Systems plus twenty (20) SMART tables with cases. In Accordance With (IAW ) FAR 11.104, Contractor may quote brand name, or equal. If quoting equal, Contractor shall provide literature with its quote showing equal specification. Requests for Information (RFIs) will not be responded to. This is a commercial system and offerors are expected to be aware of competitors equipment. Offerors are expected to quote commercial solutions. The entire Combined Solicitation/Synopsis and all attachments can be viewed at the Fort Riley Contracting website at http://www.riley.army.mil/Servi ces/Fort/Contracting.asp. There will be Three (3) CLINS: CLIN 0001 will consist of the Division Level Theater Briefing System and will have the specifications of a Multi Screen Display System with a visual display infrastructure. This Division Level Briefing System provides a mecha nical, electrical, video and communication framework for the mobile, modular and extensible missions that the division is involved with. It has a flexibility of design to accommodate all levels within the division, yet supports the soldier in the battlefi eld. CLIN 0002: The Brigade Operations System will have the features of the Division Level Briefing System but will be geared toward the local environment of the battlefield. The Brigade Operations System is designed for the demanding mission of Close A ir Support, Surveillance, Strike, and Command and Control. This brings the larger picture to the local environment of the battlefield and supports the operational soldier in the field with vital information and technology at the point of engagement. CLIN 0003: We require twenty (20) extra SMART tables as an addition to the SMART tables that come with the above system to support additional personnel and five (5) SMART Table Cases to store and transport the tables. The Government contemplates award of a si ngle contract resulting from this solicitation. Your price shall be FOB Destination. Contract will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP). The Contractor will propose a DELIVERY DATE in his quote to FORT RILEY, KANSAS 66442. The solicitation document and incorporated p rovisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-20 Effective on September 6, 2007. This requirement is unrestricted. The applicable NAICS code is 334310 with a size standard of 750 personnel. Inspection and acceptance shall be at destination . We prefer to make payment by Direct Deposit or other Electronic means. Award shall be made to the best value, delivery date, technical, warranty, past performance, and price quote.
