- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference number is F3Z3667179A001; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-20 and Defense DCN 20070906. This acquisition will be advertised as full and open. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 519120. The business size standard is $6.5 million. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is R605. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 5192. This request for quotation consists of the following items: Item 0001: Subscription to the McNaughton Adult Book Lease Plan for a period of one Year, 01 Oct 2007 through 30 Sep 2008. Reference Index McNaughton Book Plans: Subscriptions for Government Libraries Plan Index G7B5.5: Core collection 1,210 books with a monthly new book allowance of 55 books yielding an annual new book allowance of 660 books. Same salient features. Item 0002: Subscription to the McNaughton Young Adult Book Lease Plan for a period of one year, 01 Oct 2007 through 30 Sep 2008. Reference Index McNaughton Book Plans: Subscription for Government Libraries Plan index YGB4: Collection of 960 books. Same salient features. Items shall be delivered FOB Destination to Travis AFB, CA no later than 30 days after receipt of order. The following provisions and or clauses apply to this acquisition.
