- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F2FT147253A001 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-18. This is a 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 335129 with a size standard of 500 employees; the SIC code is 3648. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, tools, parts, shipping, and all other items necessary to provide the following items: Line Item 0001: Phantom AZL-15, P/N: P2603-A, or Equal (Qty: 200). Salient characteristics are as follows: Color change option between white, red, blue, green and infra-red controlled by external switch (internal to the item, not swapping lens); Switchable between steady and flashing lights; Battery-operated; Omni-directional lighting; Wireless remote control system for power on, power off, and dimming; 15 candela output from LED or solid-state light source (not incandescent light bulbs). In addition to the characteristics listed above, evaluation of equals will also be based on the battery requirements/performance (size, type, weight, and duration of use with fresh batteries) and the overall weight/footprint of the item (smaller is better due to mobility requirements with minimal equipment). All bidders shall provide specifications based on the criteria listed above with specific information on item weight, battery life and size requirements, and candela output. Line Item 0002: Phantom AZL-15 Transmitter with 9-inch Antenna, P/N: P2606-T, or Equal (Qty: 20). Line Item 0003: Pouch, Neoprene, P/N: P2606-PO, Color: Black, or Equal (Qty: 220). Line Item 0004: Batteries. Line Item 0005: Carrying Cases/Kits (should hold numerous lights and transmitters). FOB: Destination for delivery to 633 Independednce Road, Hurlburt Field, FL 32544. Please include the lump sum amount including all shipping, installation, and handling charges for FOB Destination. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition and will remain in full force in any resultant award: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items.
