Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Purchase Request number is F2X3B27207A001 as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document and incorporate provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-20 (06 September 07) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) change notice 20070906. It is the offeror?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This acquisition is for the purchase of the following items: 0001-AA: Low profile LED Lightbar, Red and Blue in color, 48 inches in length, low profile police response emergency light bar. (10 ea), 0002-AA: 60 Watt Strobe Kit, includes 4 clear bulbs, utilized in front and rear vehicle lights during emergency response. Sold by the kit. (8 ea), 0003-AA: Land Mobile Radio Speaker with bracket, black in color, to be mounted inside police vehicle and connected to Land Mobile Radio, suggested part number SA314P / SABKT21. (9 ea), 0004-AA: Public Announcement Speaker, Universal nylon with bracket, black in color, to be mounted inside police vehicle and connected to Public Announcement System, suggested part number SA314P / SABKT1. (9 ea), 0005-AA: Install Kit, miscellaneous parts for installing low profile LED Lightbar. (10 ea), 0006-AA: Installation of low profile LED lightbar on police vehicles. (10 ea), 0007-AA: Installation of 60 Watt Strobe Light Kit in front and rear lights of police vehicles. (8 ea), 0008-AA: Installation of rear mount for land mobile radio inside police vehicles. (9 ea), 0009-AA: Installation of siren in police vehicles for emergency response. (10 ea), 0010-AA: Installation of siren/public announcement underhood speaker for police vehicles. (10 ea), 0011-AA: Switch Round Rocker on/off SPST, a flip switch mechanism mounted on vehicle dashboard to turn emergency lights on or off during response. (10 ea). Award will be made based on best value for the Government. This requirement is for the 42 Security Forces Squadron. The acquisition is solicited as total small business, and the contractor must be within 100 miles of the place of performance. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is 335122 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated by reference and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order; FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Item (Jan 2005) and 52.215-5, Facsimile Proposals (Oct 1997) applies to this acquisition. Submit signed and dated quotes on company letterhead. The Government will make an award to the lowest priced, responsible, contractor whose quote conforms to the solicitation. The contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database and Wide Area Workflow. Offerors must be registered in the Online Representations and Certifications system at http://orca.bpn.gov) and provide a completed DFARS 252.225-7000, Buy American Act-Balance of Payment Program Certificate (Apr 2003) with the quote. Clauses and provisions may be accessed via the internet, http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The clause at FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Oct 2003) is incorporated into this RFQ and is amended to add the following clauses: FAR 52.204-4, Printed or Copied Double-Sided on Recycled Paper (Aug 2000) and FAR 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration (Oct 2003).
