- The VA Puget Sound Health Care System intends to negotiate a commercial contract for 26 pieces of steam sterilization equipment. This notice of intent to negotiate on a preventive maintenance service and emergency service contract with a firm to provide all labor, tools, parts, materials maintenance, calibration, and repairs for Amsco, Steris Sterilizers and Automatic Washer Units, its accessories, and associated equipment located at the Seattle and American Lake Divisions. The Government expects to award a firm fixed priced contract for a base year (October 1, 2007 thru September 30, 2008) and four option years. This is a commercial item solicitation issued in accordance with FAR Part 12 and shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 13. This will be a full and open competition solicitation with no restrictions. The solicitation will be posted on or about August 27, 2007. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 339113.
