- PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this request. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This procurement is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation parts 12 and 13. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 423490: Other Professional Equipment and Supplies Merchant Wholesalers. This procurement action is being set-aside 100% for small business concerns ? the small business size standard is 100 employees. The Federal Bureau of Investigation intends to award a firm-fixed price contract as a result of this solicitation. The FBI has a requirement for brand name Logos Digital Imaging equipment and software. The following items and quantities are required: 39 Logos 4 Scanner Kits with associated software (Item #9000); 38 Logos 4, 8x17 Carousels (Item #3065); 76 Logos 4, 8x17 Image Plate Kits with Image Plate holder and 2 light shields (Item #9030); 38 Pelican 1660 carrying cases with power box; 42 Gepe Erasing Lights (Item #3355). Items must be brand name. Any questions regarding this request for quote shall be submitted via email to andrea.campbell@ic.fbi.gov no later than Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at 10AM. Responses will be posted via the FBO site no later than September 19, 2007. Quotes shall include all shipping costs as applicable. All deliveries under this requirement will be FOB destination. Responses shall be submitted via electronic submission to Andrea Campbell at andrea.campbell@ic.fbi.gov. Hard copies, faxes, verbal quotes, and hand deliveries will not be accepted. The due date for responses to this RFQ is on or before September 21, 2007, 10:00 am Eastern Daylight Time. Responses must be marked as follows: "0223317AB". This RFQ incorporates the provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation Circular 2005-19, effective August 17, 2007. The provision at FAR Clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors (Sept 2006) and addendum are incorporated into this solicitation. Addendum to 52.212-1, Modify: (b) Submission of offer(s) is to read as follows: "Submit offers electronically to andrea.campbell@ic.fbi.gov." Provision 52.212-2 Evaluation, Commercial Items (Jan 1999) is incorporated by reference. This requirement will be awarded to the low price technically acceptable (LPTA) offeror. Provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Aug 2007) is incorporated. Contractors may submit their online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at the following government portal: http://orca.bpn.gov. Clauses 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Feb 2007), and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders, Commercial Items (Aug 2007), apply to this solicitation.
