Description
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) intends to award a purchase 30,000 Altiris Client Security Management Suite licenses with associated service support. The software is an Endpoint Security Solution that will seamlessly plug into ICE?s existing Altiris Notification Server architecture. Within the constraints of the ICE Operational environment, only Altiris Client Security Management Suite is uniquely qualified to meet the following required ICE standards: EndPoint Security (EPS) solution to provide granular security policy creation and enforcement for different profiles dependant upon hardware, software, and environment variables. Altiris is the only solution that allows for the creation of location-based policies. Provide one-time passwords with expiration capability to permit users to bypass EPS functionality for mission specific purposes. Altiris provides a "Password Override" feature allowing administrators the capability to provide users with a single-use password to bypass the security policy in mission critical situations. The original security policy is restored once the system has been restarted. The product would provide audit-ready security including the management of local users and groups account device password changing capability. Altiris satisfies this requirement with its Local Security Solution component included in the Client Security Management Suite. Integrates seamless into ICE Asset database to track endpoint mobile and workstation devices status. With the current and planned architecture for ICE (i.e, Patch Management, Asset Control, Connector for Remedy, etc.), Altiris offers seamless integration for asset database and inventory control. The Government intends to acquire the licenses and support using DHS? FirstSource competitive acquisition portal dedicated to Small Businesses. The authority for this specified brand name purchase is 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as cited in FAR 6.302-1, ?Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.? Inquiries concerning this requirement may be made to the Contract Specialist, Ron Dabrowski at ronald.dabrowski@dhs.gov. This notice is neither a request for quotation nor a solicitation for offers.
