Description
It is the intent of the National Library of Medicine (NLM) to procure 52 weekly Microfilm Issues plus Printed Volume Indexes of Chemical Abstracts (Chemweekly) on a sole source basis from the American Chemical Society. The Office of the Director, NIH, distributes books and other educational materials at the seminars and workshops that they co-sponsor throughout the year, as well as filling request for publications from the general public. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 511120 ? Periodical Publishers. The proposed acquisition will be procured under FAR Part 13 - Acquisition of Non-Commercial Items. This is not a Request for Quotations (RFQ), nor is an RFQ available. However, all responsive sources may submit a capabilities statement in a timely manner that will be considered by the Government. Sources interested in responding to this notice must be able to provide convincing evidence that they possess the requisite expertise and experience to successfully provide the item specified above. Responses must be in writing and must be received in the office within fifteen (15) calendar days from the publication date of this notice. Proposal must include pricing information. NO ELECTRONIC RESPONSES WILL BE ACCEPTED. NLM Synopsis No. 07-236/RLS. Inquires regarding this procurement may be made to Ryan Singletary, Contract Specialist, NLM on (301) 435-4391. Vendor shall comply with all applicable Federal, State and Local laws, executive orders, rules and regulations applicable to its performance under this order. The FAR provisions and clauses sited herein are incorporated by reference into this solicitation. Offerors are advised to propose in accordance with the provision of FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items (September 2006). Offerors are advised to provide with their offer a completed copy of the following provisions: FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items (November 2006). The following clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items (February 2007); FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items (March 2007).
